<reviewbody>Without a doubt one of the best electro-acoustic ambient releases I've ever heard - the perfect blend of traditional instruments & electronics. The compositions as a whole are richly layered and have a cinematic feel. The title track and "Saltwater Mists (Tears of the Damned)" are the most acoustic-based of the four with beautiful guitar-playing. "Pwdre Ser" will draw you in with its room-filling orchestral ambience and varying levels of intensity. "Teignmouth Electron" is my personal favorite with some nice electronic processing and haunting vocal murmerings in the background. This release deserves to be listened to in its entirely.

<reviewbody>Title track nearly fooled me - ambient, but not...ah...ambient. More easy listening kind of music. The other 3 tracks work more to my taste with large abstract beatless sections, and where traditional beats are introduced they fit well.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Definitely - a very nice and calm release. There are a lot of eastern influences and at the same time it doesn't sound "new-age'y" - just what i need. Besides ambient sections, you also have beat-oriented and active ones.
Also, this is the case where you have great online work by an artist who was previously only releasing commercially available works, so grab it now.</reviewbody>
